Fonseka ready to align with Chandrika

Leader of the Democratic National Alliance Sarath Fonseka states that he is ready to join together with former President Chandrika Bandaranayaka Kumaranatunga to engage in politics.

Speaking at a press conference held in Jaffna Friday, he stated that he has already engaged in talks with the representatives of the former president. We are willing to contest under the common opposition in the upcoming elections. It's necessary to reduce military presentation in the Jaffna penisula and also need to evacuate high secuirty zones in the province. Fonseka finally stated unqualified persons were appointed as high ranking officials of SriLankan army.
