Boat carrying 70 asylumseekers stopped

Navy stopped a boat carrying 70 asylum seekers to Australia at the Valaichchenai Sea on Wednesday morning.

All these suspects are been taken to Trincomalee, police said. Police also seized 3 vans and one car used to transport people at Batticaloa town.
