PSC to hold first meeting

President of the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) Nimal Siripala De Silva announced first meeting of PSC schedule to take place tomorrow at 3.00 pm in the parliamentary complex.

This committee will discuss on 13th constitutional amendment and also solution on ethnic issue of this country. Recently speaker released the names ruling party representatives in the committee. They are Ministers G.L.Peries, Maithripala Sirisena, Douglas Devananda, A.L.M.Athaula, DEW. Gunasekara, Rishd Bathudeen, Champika Ranawaka, Wimal Weerawansa, Vasudeva Nanayakkara and the deputy minister Muttu Sivalingam. However United National Party, Tamil National Alliance and JVP announced they will never representate the parliamentary select committee appointed by the president.
