Tamil cinema says good bye

Tamil poet and lyricist Vaali, who was undergoing treatment for a respiratory illness at a hospital in Chennai, died on Thursday. He was 82.

Vaali began his carrier in 1958 and wrote more than 10,000 Tamil songs. For the past 35 days he suffered from breathing problem and received treatment at the Apollo hospital.
