Principal attacks students: 5 hospitalised

Five students of the Weetchchukalmunai Maha Vidiyalayam was attacked by principal and rushed to Batticaloa base hospital.

Principal brutally beaten grade 5 scholarship students with cane while playing in school grounds. Students returned home in the afternoon inform their parents on this attack. Parents found wounds in legs of their children and rushed to the Batticaloa hospital. Police conduct further investigations on this incident.
