Provincial Councils election on September 21

Elections for the Northern, North Western and Central province will be held on September 21, Election Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya announced short while ago.

Filing nomination papers for the provincial council election ended up this afternoon. 142 members would be selected to the North, North Western and Central Provincial Councils. Meanwhile 48 lakhs 58 thousand 261 voters are capable to caste their votes in the upcoming election.
