Government ordered State Intelligence Service officer at BIA to monitor dual citizenship owners

The Ministry of Defence ordered the State Intelligence Service officer at BIA to monitor dual citizenship owners of Northern Province.

TID officers said dual citizenship owners of Northern Province provide permanent resident as Colombo and live in some other address. It was ordered to provide information’s of immigration arrival card towards TID officers. Government vastly believes migrated Tamils will cast their votes in the upcoming northern provincial council election.
