We own only one high security zone in SriLanka: Gotabaya

Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa said at present SriLanka turns to democratic, peaceful and high security nation. He also blamed group of western nations are attempting to mislead the country.

Addressing defence seminar at Colombo yesterday secretary went on to say, We have evacuated all security zones from the country. At present we have only one high security zone in Palali, Jaffna. People are permitted to visit airport and the KKS harbor at the site. Government has taken various steps to upgrade life style of people in the North and East areas. We have opened police stations at these areas and also decided to join Tamil speaking police men to establish law and order in these provinces, secretary said.
