Government to postpone Northern Provincial Council election

Government decided to postpone Northern Provincial Council election by one month time period, government sources said.

Previously government decided to hold election in month of October. On this time period government decided implement changes in the provincial council act and include names of migrated voters to the voters list. Government minister will also hold discussions with chief ministers on provincial council power devolution.
