Opposition leader and his team attacked

Opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe and the Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa were attacked at Balapitiya-Migettuwatta area this evening.

According to the UNP parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa, team lead by the opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe visited funeral houses of fishermen dead due to inclement weather condition at 4.30 pm this evening. On this time more than hundred individuals thrown stones towards opposition leader and also cause damages to his official vehicles, parliamentarian said.
