Fake note from Judge at Expressway gate

A Judge who had handed over a fake Rs. 1000 note at the Kottawa Entry point on the Southern Express Way was released after the police recorded his statement yesterday.

He had said the fake note had been among the notes he received when he got a cheque encashed by the court secretary. A statement is to be recorded from the secretary as well
