Sinhala Jaffna film director hospitalized

The director of 'Manamalayo' film T. Bhavanandan has been admitted to Kalubovila hospital in critical condition, reports say.

Bhavanandan who step foot in film industry as the assistant director of ' Prema Tharagaya' directed by A.B Raj , has been the assistant director of ' Puduma Leli', 'Ahankara Sthri', 'Hadisi Vivahaya' and 'Mangalika'. Later on working as a Film Editor he has edited the films 'Sudu Sudu','Manamalayo', 'Thushara','Geheniyak', 'Monarathenna' and ' Susi'. T.Bhavanandan reutrned to his homeland Jaffna due to a disappointment towards local cinema and following his return he lived in Mount Lavinia.
