Government decided to hold election to establish democracy in North: Min. Maithripala

The Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena announced SriLankans should feel happy on holding election in the Northern Provincial Council.

Due to terrorist threats for past 30 years government fail to administrate northern part of the country. End of war government decided to hold election to establish democracy in the peaceful surrounding. I believe this was a historical achievement of Mahinda Rajapaksa government, minister said.
