Prisoners tired to commit suicide at Negombo prison

Group of 7 prisoners detained at the Negombo prison tried to commit suicide due to continues tortures by the prison officials, sources said.

Due to stress these prisoners have consumed poison. It was blamed high ranking prison officer has tortured these prisoners. The prisoners have consumed panadol with washing powder, rushed to the Negombo hospital. Suspects connection with heroin distribution tired to commit suicide.
