Government willing to betray international community - Dayan Jayathilaka

Senior diplomat of SriLanka Dayan Jayathilaka says government cannot achieve victory by betraying international community on introducing power sharing in the country.

Speaking BBC Sinhala service on governments opposite stance on 13thconstitutional amendment senior diplomat went on to say, Government willing to reduce power of provincial councils in the country and also invites Tamil National Alliance to representate the Parliamentary Select Committee. At present government as missed change on implementing power sharing which would help all communities to lead peaceful life in this country. This was present ground situation. However government willing to betray international community by promising to grant power sharing for Tamils, he said.
