Lankan politician donates Rs.4 billion to Maldives president

SriLankan politicians have taken steps to donate Rs.4 billion to Maldives president,  Sinhala news paper reports.

Lankan politician together with Maldives minister made several attempts to donate Rs.4billon towards Maldives president, President Mahinda Rajapaksa announce at the recent development meeting. However Maldives president Mohammed Waheed Hassan refused to accept this money and also ordered to hand over money towards Lankan president, Sinhala newspaper reports.
