Lankans smuggle 4kg gold biscuits to Chennai arrested

Indian customs officials arrested four SriLankans including three women on smuggling 4kg  gold biscuits to India by Colombo- Chennai flight.

Customs officers arrested arrest these suspects over tipoff. Officers checked all passengers on board and arrested Parvathi (Puthukottai), Amarawathi) ,Jeyamani (Chennai) and Jeyashankar (Jaffna). All these four suspects were taken to separate room and officers recovered 4kg of gold biscuits from their position. Investigations are currently underway.
