Special programme to arrest tourists over staying in SriLanka

Immigration office, National Intelligence unit together with the SriLanka police conduct special programme to arrest tourists over staying in the country, director of immigration and emigration Chulananda Perera said.

According to the sources these foreigners have involved in business and illegal activities. At present necessary steps are been taken to deport these suspects. Police media spokesman Budhika Siriwardene said, Tourists visits SriLanka in the tourist visa engage in business activities and cultivation in the north and eastern parts of the island.
