SriLanka responsibl​e for Bodhgaya attack: Fonseka

The government should take the blame for the attack on the Mahabodhi temple in Bihar’s Bodhgaya district in India, the Leader of the Democratic Party Sarath Fonseka stated.

Speaking at a press conference held today (July 10) in Colombo, Fonseka stated that the government has been reaping cheap political gains through the religious fundamentalism and disharmony in the country. This situation, he added was one of the causes for the attack on the temple.
