Nomination papers could be file since July 25

The election commission announced nomination papers could be file for the Central, North Western and Northern provincial councils since July 25 to August 1st.

Registered political parties, independent groups are permitted to file their nomination papers in the district secretaries. Election schedule to be hold on 21st or 28th of September. Meanwhile election commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya schedule to meet representatives of political parties tomorrow.
