Two children consumed rat poison found dead

Two children were killed today after they had consumed rat poison found in their house at Kumburupitiya, Matara.

The police said that the two boys aged 6 and 3 had died on admission to hospital. Both young boys had fallen very sick after consuming the rat poison and were rushed to hospital. However the two brothers had died on admission to hospital this afternoon. Police investigations are underway.
