Quintuplets born in Kandy

A 31 year old mother from Madwala Kandy gave birth to quintuplets at the Kandy General hospital today.

Hospital sources said that the mother is in a stable condition while one of the infant have been transferred to the Peradeniya hospital and other to Bandarawela hospital for further observation. All the other three children are at Kandy hospital. Mother has given birth to four sons and one daughter, hospital sources said
