Former senior LTTE commanders Nagulan and Ram to contest in NPC election

Former senior LTTE commanders Nagulan and Ram schedule to contest in the Northern Provincial Council election.
Ram and Nagulan served as senior LTTE commanders of Eastern Province and also they continuously controlled Kanjikudichcharu area in the Ampara district. Since end of the war in 2009 these two leaders announced that they are ready continuing their freedom struggle. People were suspicious over their presence and later on it was revealed these two leaders are inn military control.
Large amount of military intelligence unit members present at the wedding ceremony of Nagulan at Jaffna recently. According to the media reports these two leaders fail to receive rehabilitation programme and permitted lead independent life in the society. This activity clearly proves that these two leaders were monitored by military members. These two leaders schedule to receive one month rehabilitation programme at the Chennaikudiyiruppu area in Polannaruwa.
However LTTE former political wing leader Thamilini refused to contest in the northern provincial council election. Due to threats made by the government she agreed to take part in the election conversing, sources said.
