Jathika Hella Urumaya that urged on the abolition of the PC system is now silent

JHU the strong Buddhist trend component in the government party continuously insisted and urged the government to abolish the PC system in Sri Lanka and through bitter campaigns is, now silent while the Northern Provincial Council elections are announced by the President.
It suggests and wishes another 21st amendment to the constitution to the Sri Lankan Constitution.
Minister Wimal Weerawansa - National Freedom Front is demanding to delete the police and the land powers to the Northern Provincial Councils before the Provincial Council elections.
The Government is pressurized by various events to take place such as the UN Human Rights Council session in September, the Commonwealth of Nations summit in November as immediate solutions are necessary with regard to the post-war activities and LLRC report.
So many minister who challenged the government to leave if it doesn’t act according to their wish with regard to Provincial councils, Land power police power and various other factors are now silent.
