4 woman connection with robbery arrested

Police have arrested four women connection with robbery at Koppai- Kondawil area, Jaffna.

Woman from the Kokkavil area took part in the pooja held at the Aanai wairawel kovil. On this time four women have robbed the gold chain of this woman. People present at the pooja have arrested suspect and informed police later. Police officer visited the sited have arrested the suspects and revealed these four women were residents of Puttlam. Suspects have robbed 13 pounds and 2 pounds worth of gold chains from their position, Kopai police said.
