Peradeniya University students arrested connection with robberies

Final year engineering student of Peradeniya University arrested connection with various robberies.

Suspect has robbed jewelries and money from houses, shops and banks in the area. During the time of investigations police have recovered Rs.6 million cash and Rs.4 million worth of jewelries from his position. Suspect identified as Sameera Madhushanka Yapa (25) final year student of engineering faculty of Peradeniya University. Area residents were suspicious over wealthy life style lead by the suspect and informed police this regard.
